Water Heater in Kanata Lakes, Ontario
A commercial hot water dispenser that had stopped heating entirely. That was the situation when we got the emergency call from a client in Kanata Lakes. The unit, a stainless steel BUNN hot water tower, was sitting cold. You can see in the before photo that a plastic container was set up beneath the tap, likely catching drips or being used to test output. Nothing warm was coming through.
We came out for an urgent assessment to figure out what was going on. These BUNN units are workhorses in commercial kitchens and busy prep spaces, so when they go down, it matters. We looked the system over carefully, checked the connections and supply line, and diagnosed the issue on site.
The after photo tells a cleaner story. The unit is back in proper working position, the supply line overhead is connected and secure, and the drip tray is clear. The dispenser is doing its job again.
