At John the Plumber Mississauga we get all sorts of calls to our office – some are emergencies – flooding basements, sewer mains backing up, burst pipes etc. Some are generic – leaky toilets and bathroom taps, clogged sinks, leaking shut off valves, no hot water or low water pressure and the like. Some are funny – for instance, children enjoy shoving all sorts of interesting things into toilets, like apples, whole rolls of toilet paper and sometimes clothing!
We also get a lot of calls that ask for quotes or pricing over the phone. Or if there actually really is a John the Plumber. Or if the reviews on Google are accurate.
So here we are with a little FAQ about Mississauga’s top plumbing company.
Q: Is there really a John? And is he a plumber?
A: Yes, there sure is! He is the owner of the company, and always has been.
Q: What is your hourly rate?
A: We do not have one – we always recommend to have one of the plumbers from John the Plumber come and give you an accurate quote, on site so there are no surprises. We warn you of people who sound very cheap over the phone – they probably are!
Q: Are the reviews I read online legit?
A: Ahhhh, the internet…hard to trust what you read nowadays. Yes, our reviews on Google mean the world to us, and if you read through them you will find customers who liked us so much they took the time to write a review for us. We get a lot of business from customers who look online and read our reviews and we work extremely hard to keep our reputation in Mississauga.
Q: Do you give free quotes?
A: We do not. We charge a small call out fee to cover our plumbers valuable time to come quote a job, and we only charge the quote fee if no work is ever done. Our guys mean the world to us, and they are the professionals in what they do.
Q: Is your van the orange one where it looks like the driver is actually sitting on a toilet?
A: Yep, it sure is! Best advertising idea we had. We love our vans!
