Floor drain pipes are wider than many of the other pipes in your home, so they often require bigger equipment to properly dislodge blockages.

As sewer lateral pipes get older, they can corrode, collapse, crack, and break. Tree roots can attack your pipes and grow inside of them. Eventually, you’ll be stuck with a broken pipe that makes you wonder how it had been draining until this point.

It’s important to hire professional plumbers to fix sewage backups due to the possibility of bigger problems being present.
